O2 Employment Services is partnering with a respected local nonprofit organization to hire a full-time Guest Services Manager in Redding, CA . This leadership position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, has strong leadership skills, and is passionate about supporting individuals in need while maintaining structure, accountability, and safety.Pay for the Guest Services Manager position is $26–30 per hour depending on experience.Benefits may include:Pay range: $26-$30 per hourMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offLeadership and professional growth opportunitiesMeaningful work serving the local communityThe Guest Services Manager will oversee the daily operations of emergency shelter and resource center services while supervising staff and volunteers to ensure safe, consistent, and effective program delivery.ResponsibilitiesOverseeing daily Guest Services operations including shelter and resource center activitiesSupervising, coordinating, and supporting Guest Services staffManaging staff scheduling and ensuring coverage for all shifts, including nights and weekendsProviding coaching, accountability, and ongoing staff supportMaintaining a safe, structured, and clean environmentResponding to incidents, behavioral health crises, and conflict situationsUtilizing de-escalation techniques and ensuring adherence to safety protocolsCoordinating guest intake processes and case management supportMaintaining accurate documentation and compliance standardsCollaborating with internal departments and outside agencies to support continuity of careBuilding relationships with crisis teams, medical providers, hospitals, and law enforcement agenciesParticipating in operational planning and problem-solving meetingsQualificationsQualifications for the Guest Services Manager position include:Minimum of 3–5 years of leadership or supervisory experienceExperience in homeless services, behavioral health, or related human services fields preferredStrong leadership and team management skillsAbility to remain calm and professional in high-stress situationsStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilitiesExperience managing personnel issues professionally and effectivelyStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office and client data systemsUnderstanding of boundaries, accountability, and policy enforcementAbility to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidaysClean DMV recordMust be insurable through the company's insurance providerAbility to pass pre-employment screening including drug testingWork EnvironmentThis position works within an active shelter and resource center environment and includes both office responsibilities and direct floor supervision.
