O2 Employment Services is working with a local company to find an Associate Warehouse Clerk to join their warehouse team. This is a full-time, temporary-to-hire opportunity with a well-established, family-owned company in Redding, CA. The Associate Warehouse Clerk will assist with stocking, inventory, prepackaging, order picking, and general warehouse support to help ensure accurate and timely service for internal and external customers.

Associate Warehouse Clerk Compensation & Benefits:

• $19.00 - $21.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Full-time, temporary-to-hire opportunity
• Monday through Friday schedule
• 7:30am - 4:00pm
• Potential for regular full-time employment after 90 days

Associate Warehouse Clerk Responsibilities:

• Receive, sort, and stock pre-pack finished products in appropriate warehouse locations
• Check physical stock counts against inventory system records for accuracy
• Place overstock items in designated bins and tag products with proper location tags
• Monitor inventory variances and report discrepancies to management
• Assist with month-end inventory reporting and stock investigations
• Transfer products and equipment between facilities as needed
• Assist order pullers with locating overstock products and replenishing shelves
• Package customer products accurately using proper materials, labels, and instructions
• Count, weigh, or measure bulk products into smaller inventory volumes
• Report damaged products or inventory discrepancies to leadership
• Pick products accurately from warehouse areas for customer orders
• Include required SDS information as part of the order fulfillment process
• Handle hazardous materials according to safety protocols
• Pack, seal, label, and prepare boxes for shipping
• Use shipping software to calculate shipping rates and produce shipping labels
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized warehouse work area
• Communicate with warehouse staff, customer service, and sales to resolve order or inventory issues
• Assist with special projects and backup duties in other warehouse areas as needed
• Follow all company safety protocols and procedures

Associate Warehouse Clerk Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience preferred, preferably in a warehouse or production environment
• Computer proficiency required, including the ability to type and use Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail, especially with numbers and part sequences
• Ability to learn new tasks quickly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to write legibly
• Good math, problem-solving, and judgment skills
• Excellent organizational skills and clean work habits
• Ability to handle small items with dexterity and count accurately
• Valid driver's license and good driving record required
• Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards

Associate Warehouse Clerk Physical Requirements:

• Must have strong eyesight to recognize lengthy part numbers
• Must be able to communicate verbally and hear instructions
• Must be able to stand and walk throughout the facility for up to 8 hours per day
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 pounds frequently
• Must be able to reach overhead and bend to the ground
• Occasional stair climbing and use of step stools required
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds with assistance
• Associate Warehouse Clerk Working Conditions:
• Warehouse environment with swamp cooling only
• Must be adaptable to working in heat, cold, dust, and noise
• May occasionally work in an office environment
