Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Redding, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 08/10/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: The facility is seeking a Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) for a day shift position located in Redding, California. This inpatient role involves providing therapy services primarily for cardiac, stroke, orthopedic, ICU, neuro, and medical-surgical patients. Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of experience in the specialty and at least one year of acute care hospital experience. The role offers an opportunity for first-time travelers and requires flexibility to work every third weekend. Job Details: Location: Redding, California Shift: 10-hour days, Sunday through Saturday on a rotational basis, with every third weekend work required. Schedule: 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each, from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS certification and COVID-19 vaccination; a valid license to submit; minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty; at least 1 year of acute care hospital experience. Preferred Qualifications: None specified. Floats: No floating required. Additional Information: Staff are covered 7 days a week for physical therapy services. PT team has a team leader when the manager is not present. Orientation includes 8 hours of floor-specific training for all modalities. Common patient diagnoses include cardiac, stroke (facility is stroke certified), orthopedic, ICU, neuro, and medical-surgical cases. Neonatal ICU and pediatrics experience not required. The hospital has a 24/7 in-house hospitalist or intensivist team, and in-house pharmacy. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in the specialty and 1 year of acute care hospital experience. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts in a 13-week assignment.
