Billing Representative

If so, you may be the perfect fit for our Billing Representative position.

As a Billing Rep you will be responsible for preparing, submitting, and following up on claims for DME services. This role ensures accurate billing, resolves claim denials, communicates with payers, and supports patients with billing-related questions.

What You'll Do

• Submit claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans.
• Verify insurance benefits, coverage, authorizations, and required documentation for DME items.
• Review, correct, and resubmit denied or rejected claims.
• Post payments, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate billing records.
• Communicate with patients, payers, and referral sources to address billing questions or resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with payer guidelines, DME regulations, and internal company policies.
• Collaborate with customer service and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate billing.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Experience in DME billing or healthcare billing is required.
• Knowledge of HCPCS codes, modifiers, and documentation standards.
• Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurance billing practices.
• Strong data-entry and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency.
