District Administrator (DA)

Under the general supervision of the Regional Director, Manager II, the District Administrator (DA), Staff Services Manager II (SSMII) is responsible for managing a program of vocational rehabilitation (VR) services within an assigned geographical service area in support of the Department's mission and goals. Using initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness must analyze situations and provide leadership to effectively plan and resolve problems.

This position requires that the incumbent be housed in one of the offices within the Redwood Empire District. Recruitment efforts and the selection of the candidate includes consideration for each region served by the Redwood Empire District. The district includes the Santa Rosa District Office and the Branch Offices in Napa, Ukiah, Lakeport, Eureka, Redding, Yreka, Red Bluff, and Novato. The selected candidate may be housed in any of the listed offices, based upon operational needs. The hiring manager will review applications every two weeks starting 10/22/26.
