Location: Red Bluff, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Split Shift
Starting Pay: $19.50/hour + Split-Shift Pay Differential
Pay Increase: Available after successful completion of probationary period

K&S Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced, dependable Cook for a long-term position at a facility in Red Bluff, CA.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of professional cooking experience and be comfortable working independently while preparing quality meals. This position requires someone who is clean, organized, dependable, and able to multitask while managing multiple meal preparation periods throughout the day.

SPLIT-SHIFT SCHEDULE

This position requires the Cook to report onsite multiple times throughout the day:

• Report onsite to prepare breakfast

• Leave the facility between meal periods

• Return onsite to prepare lunch

• Leave the facility between meal periods

• Return again to prepare dinner

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to established menus

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen

• Follow food preparation and food-safety procedures

• Properly store and handle food

• Monitor kitchen supplies and communicate when items need to be replenished

• Clean dishes, equipment, counters, and work areas

• Manage multiple tasks and meal preparations efficiently

• Work independently with minimal supervision

• Maintain consistent food quality and presentation

• Follow facility policies and procedures

• Maintain a professional and dependable presence

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years of professional cooking experience

• Must successfully pass a background check

• Must successfully complete fingerprinting

• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

• Ability to work independently

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities

• Must maintain a clean and sanitary work environment

• Dependable, responsible, and professional

• Must be willing and able to work a split-shift schedule

COMPENSATION

$19.50/hour starting wage + split-shift pay

A pay increase will be considered after successful completion of the probationary period, based on performance, reliability, attendance, and ability to meet the requirements of the position.
