Kinderland Child Development Center is seeking PreSchool and Infant teachers to work in a fun, fast-paced environment. Teachers are responsible for all aspects of child care including: personal care (diapering, toileting, cleanliness); lesson planning and curriculum including circle times; serving meals and cleaning up after; supervision in the classroom and on the playground; end-of-day cleanup including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, toy sanitization, etc. Wages start at $18 per hour. Holiday pay is earned as raises. We provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks to children and staff members.
Community Care Licensing requires all center teachers in PreSchool facilities to have 12 ECE (Early Childhood Education) units through an accredited college such as Shasta College. A candidate can start with 6 units as long as they stay currently enrolled in classes and complete the 12 units within one year of employment. An Infant teacher must have 3 ECE units in Infant/Toddler education. All candidates who do not have Infant/Toddler units must be willing to obtain those units within one year of employment. A transcript is required for an interview. These are full-time 40 hour a week positions. We do not hire part time employees.
